Permaculture comes to Uganda

In March 2010, ICOD Action Network in collaboration with our Chicago based partner, Project Focus (www.projectfocus.org) hosted Warren Brush and Daniel Parra Hensel in Lyantonde Uganda who trained farmers in Permaculture. Warren Brush is a certified Permaculture designer and teacher as well as a mentor. He is co-founder of Quail Springs Learning Oasis & Permaculture Farm, Sustainable Vocations, Wilderness Youth Project, Trees for Children and his Permaculture design company, True Nature Design. He works extensively in Permaculture education and sustainable systems design in North America and in Africa as well as in other countries worldwide. Daniel is a wonderful trainer too and was a great facilitator in trainings. Daniel and Warren trained farmers in 3 villages

We are glad to be at the forefront of the Permaculture Movement in Uganda
